INFORMATION SECURITY & CONFIDENTIALITY
How we protect your information
Ausena Support handles financial, NDIS, business and family information every day. Here’s how we protect it.
Confidentiality as standard
Everything you share with us is treated as confidential, whether it’s a client’s loan file, a participant’s service records, or your family’s personal paperwork. Information is only used for the purpose you’ve engaged us for, and only shared further where you’ve specifically asked us to act on your behalf — for example, sending documents to a lender or property manager at your instruction.
How documents are shared
Wherever possible, documents are exchanged through secure cloud links (Microsoft 365 and OneDrive) rather than as email attachments, so sensitive files aren’t sitting loose in an inbox. If you already use a different secure system — a client portal, a shared drive, or your own document platform — we’re happy to work within it.
Access and storage
- Client files are stored in secure cloud environments with access limited to the people working on your file
- Multi-factor authentication and strong password practices are used across our own systems
- Devices used for client work are kept updated and protected
- Documents are organised and filed systematically, not scattered across ad hoc locations
Regulated-industry background
Ausena’s founder brings over fifteen years’ experience in banking and credit, including handling sensitive financial and identity information under bank-grade confidentiality standards. That same discipline — treating every file as if it were being audited — carries across all of Ausena’s work, from mortgage files to NDIS records to family paperwork.
If something goes wrong
If we ever became aware of a data breach affecting your information, we would notify you directly and promptly, and take immediate steps to contain and address it.
